You’re welcome to bring your favourite cooperative, community-building, anti-oppressive games to share.

This is an ALL ages event. Families with children are welcome.

Small hand-crafted fruit and vegetable drink menu, available by donation. Other snacks by donation.

There will also be a CLOTHING SWAP. Bring your unwanted clothes in good condition to exchange with others.

+ Cost: $5 donation, no one turned away. This money will help us fund future Homospun events.

+ Accessibility info: there is an elevator up to the second-floor event space. The space itself is on two levels, joined by a ramp. There is a single-stall wheelchair accessible washroom, and a multi-stall gender-neutral washroom.

Homospun Collective Events is a volunteer-run group that regularly puts on inclusive events in Victoria, BC, Coast Salish Territory for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, queer, two-spirit, genderqueer, and questioning communities, as well as our friends, allies, and anyone interested in creating alternative spaces to meet, create, dance, relax, and make friends.

Queer Games Night

We’re having a queer games night! Super cool! It’s all ages. It’s free. There will be free popcorn! Chips, pop and juice are available by donation.

Homospun Queer Games Night on April 27, 6 to 9 pm

When? Saturday, April 27, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Pool tables and shuffle board: there are awesome big brilliant billiard tables, and, don’t forget, a shuffle board. Shuffle board! There will also be queer pictionary, board games & cards. And more.

Art Station: make a button. Make ten buttons!

Clothing swap: there’s going to be a clothing swap! Bring your unwanted clothes in good condition to exchange with others. Find the sweet slacks or handsome hoody that you’ve been looking for.

Bring your own game: Also, you’re welcome to bring games of your own. If you’re thinking of bringing a game though, we would love it if you gave some thought to the way we try to make the space cooperative, community-building and anti-oppressive. Sharing is awesome.
